South West Forum on Ageing
Welcome to the digital home of the South West Forum on Ageing (SWFoA hereafter!)
You can find out more about us on our ‘About’ page, but in essence we are the interface here in the South West between older people’s representatives and the organisations whose policies, products and services impact upon them.
So if you are any of those, we’d like to think that this website will be helpful to you. There is also an open invitation to become more involved in our activities.
And while SWFoA was set up by the Government (and are still funded by them) we are entirely (and fiercely) independent. “Nothing decided on our behalf without our input,” might well be our motto.
On this site you will also find useful information in the form of downloads and links, as well as information on forthcoming events – most importantly the The South West Seniors Assembly being held on 29 May in partnership with the South West Seniors Network.
If YOU have information that you think will be relevant and helpful to older people, and that we can put on this site, do please send it in - ideally as a PDF or Word document. Go to the Contact section and click on the appropriate link.
